Pardubice airport is proud of the fact that there is a very low percentage of delayed baggage from our airport. Even though all people involved put all their effort in handling baggage, it may happen that your luggage is delayed or damaged.
In this case, contact us immediately after arrival at Baggage Claim which you can find in the arrival hall. Ring the bell and wait for an airport representative. We will do all we can to put things right.
Delayed and lost baggage
The sooner you report your lost or delayed baggage, the earlier we can solve this problem. Therefore it is important to contact us straight away, when you are still at the airport, if your luggage doesn’t arrive with you. Have your baggage tag and boarding pass stub ready to fill in a Property Irregularity Report (PIR) which is necessary for baggage complaint at your airline. Search for your baggage is going on automatically and you can check the status of the search of your baggage here.
When your luggage is located, it will be delivered to your address stated in PIR. If your bag isn’t found after certain period of time it is declared lost. It’s usually 21 days but this period may vary due to your airline regulations.
In case of damaged bag, it is also important to report damaged baggage or damaged or missing items in your baggage right after your arrival. After presenting your baggage tag and boarding pass stub, we will fill in a Property Irregularity Report (PIR) which is necessary for baggage complaint at your airline.
