Passengers check-in

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

The validity of travel documents and visas is checked at check-in. It is possible for Czech citizens to travel abroad with the following travel documents:

  • Valid passport or other travel document according to Act No. 329/1999 Coll.,
  • Valid ID card – ID card is a sufficient travel document to EU countries, Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein and Switzerland.

When traveling with children, it is essential that the child has own travel document.

General information

We recommend arriving at the airport 1.5 hour before the flight. Standard flight check-in usually starts 2 hours and ends 40 minutes before the scheduled departure.

Passenger´s luggage:

  • Checked baggage (it is provided with a baggage tag and loaded into the cargo area of ​​the aircraft)
  • Cabin baggage (passengers take it on board of the aircraft)

Checked and cabin baggage are subject to weight limits, to which they are transported free of charge. Baggage handling (including weight limits) is the subject of the travel rules of individual airlines.

CHECK-IN – RYANAIR

All passengers must check-in themselves and print out their boarding pass, or have it in their mobile phone, tablet, etc.

Check-in can be done on the Ryanair website or through the mobile application, which is available for Android and iOS. With purchased ticket, check-in can be done 2 days to at least 2 hours before the scheduled departure. If you have purchased a specific seat, check-in can be done 60 days before the scheduled departure. Passengers who arrive at the airport and without checking-in (less than 2 hours before the scheduled departure) will have to check in for a fee at the airport. If a passenger arrives at the airport and already checked-in, but without the boarding pass, passenger will have to pay a fee for printing the boarding pass at the airport. The only exceptions are the “Plus” and “Flexi Plus” tariffs where check-in at the airport and printing of a boarding pass is free.

Basically, a passenger can only travel with one piece of carry-on luggage with maximum dimensions of 40cm x 25cm x 20cm. If the passenger has purchased the “Priority Boarding” service, he can take on board another piece of luggage measuring 55cm x 40cm x 20cm.

CHECK-IN WIZZAIR

All passengers must check-in and print out their boarding pass, or have it in their mobile phone, tablet, etc.

Wizz Air offers the option to purchase an airport check-in service, which is only available when purchasing a ticket. Check-in can be done on the Wizzair website or through the mobile application, which is available for Android and iOS. If you have purchased a ticket, check-in can be done 2 days to at least 3 hours before the scheduled departure. If you have purchased a specific seat, check-in can be done 30 days before the scheduled departure. Passengers arriving at the airport without check-in and without purchased check-in service at the airport (less than 3 hours before the scheduled departure) will have to check-in for a fee at the airport. If a passenger arrives at the airport and already checked in, but without a boarding pass, passenger will have to pay a fee for printing the boarding pass at the airport.
