The number of passengers in Pardubice is growing this year
Airport Pardubice recorded a further increase in the first half of 2018. The number of passengers transported in January-June was 83.405, which is almost as much as for the whole of 2017.
It means that despite the fact the airport will be closed for two-month closure in the last quarter of 2018 (reparing the runway by the Czech Army), the transport results from 2017 will be overcome.
The results should most likely to exceed the threshold of 100.000 passengers per year.
Passenger numbers are mainly from charter flights to the sea (Burgas, Rhodos, Heraklion, Antalya, Podgorica) and gradually returning Russian clientele.
Ryanair´s lines are also a significant part of the results. Passengers like to use flights to the London or Spanish Alicante.
