The realignment of networks will follow after," said Helena Dvořáčková, the Deputy of Lord Mayor responsible for investment expenditure. The company, in her statement, chosen technological processes that minimizes the noise and dust while working. "Crushing of the crashed material takes place under water," the Deputy said.
Work progress according to schedule - the construction company does not have time to waste. The new terminal building, whose foundation stone was laid two months ago, is to be completed by the end of September next year, which means it must be done in 14 months. "Construction of the new terminal building does not disturb the functioning of the airport. Now, in the summer there could be handled even ten aircrafts per day, including charter flights to sunny destinations. What is the most important thing – the comfort of all passengers is preserved," Hana Šmejkalová, the director of Pardubice Airport, confirmed. During the summer season the Pardubice Airport will handle more than 100 charter flights to Bulgaria, Greece and Montenegro. Flights to Burgas and Rhodes are charters as well as the regular ones.
A new terminal building is being built by the association of companies STRABAG Inc. and Chládek & Tintěra, Pardubice Inc. for 256 million of Czech Crowns. The cost of construction also includes the construction of the access road to the terminal building. Financial resources for the construction of the new terminal building are secured by shareholders, the City of Pardubice which owns two-thirds of the shares and the Pardubice Region as a one-third shares owner. For the future development of the Pardubice Airport the new terminal building is the real necessity.
